Privacy policy for the Orion app. Tracking data stays stored locally on the user’s device.
This privacy policy explains how the Orion app handles user data.
Orion is a personal wellness tracking app for nutrition, activity, sleep, hydration, and certain body metrics. Orion helps users better understand their daily habits through clear data visualization, personalized estimates, and a holographic interface.
Orion is not a medical device. The app does not replace a doctor, healthcare professional, medical diagnosis, prescription, or personalized medical care.

2. Orion’s general philosophy
Orion was built around a simple principle: health, body, activity, and daily-life data are sensitive and must remain under the user’s control.
In its current version, Orion uses local storage. Data entered, imported, or generated in the app is kept directly on the user’s device.
Orion does not sell personal data. Orion does not resell health data. Orion does not use user data for targeted advertising. Orion does not share personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or commercial partners.
Dream Industrie does not centralize Orion data and has no technical access to personal tracking data stored locally in the app.
3. Supported platforms
Orion is intended to be available on:
- iOS;
- Android.
Some features may vary depending on the platform, phone model, connected watch, permissions granted by the user, and data actually available on the device.
4. Data Orion may process
Depending on the features used, Orion may process different categories of data.
4.1 Profile data
- Age or date of birth, height, weight, weight goal, sex or avatar display gender, display preferences, personal goals, tracking settings.
4.2 Activity and fitness data
- Steps, distance, calories burned, workouts, activity duration, floors, heart rate, heart rate variability, VO₂ max, training load, connected watch or compatible health app data.
4.3 Sleep and recovery data
- Sleep duration, bedtime/wake times, sleep stages, estimated sleep debt, nighttime heart rate, estimated recovery.
4.4 Nutrition and hydration data
- Meals, foods, quantities, calories, macronutrients, drinks, water, caffeine, alcohol, digestion / absorption / hydration / metabolic load estimates.
4.5 Manually entered health or wellness data
- Blood glucose, HbA1c, symptoms, stress, tobacco, vaping, menstrual cycle, medications, allergies, declared medical conditions.
4.6 Apple Health / Health Connect data
- With explicit authorization: weight, heart rate, sleep, activity, active calories, steps, workouts, hydration, nutrition, other available indicators.
4.7 Technical data
- App version, language, locale preferences, display settings, stability data. No Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Sentry, etc. at this stage.
5. Purposes of processing
- Daily tracking, indicator display, personalized estimates, organic visualizations, notifications, data management/editing/deletion, local export/restore, experience improvement, technical operation.
Orion does not provide medical diagnosis.
6. Legal basis for processing
- Consent (health, permissions, notifications), performance of the service, legitimate interest (security, stability, technical improvement).
7. Data storage
- 100% local on the device. No Orion server, mandatory account, Orion cloud sync, remote Dream Industrie database, or external behavioral analytics tool.
8. Data sharing
- No sale or sharing with advertisers or brokers. No remote technical access by Dream Industrie. Data only leaves the app through voluntary export/backup/sharing by the user.
9. Artificial intelligence and local processing
- Local processing is preferred. Any future external AI would be announced and this policy updated.
10. Notifications
- Hydration, sleep, activity, fasting, caffeine/alcohol, personal goals — optional and can be disabled.
11. Food data and public databases
- Public/open databases may be used; users should verify important information (allergies, diets, medical conditions).
12. Retention and deletion
- Retained while the app is installed or until manual deletion. Full deletion available from the app (return to welcome screen). Support emails kept for as long as needed to handle the request.
13. Security
- Limited local collection, no resale, no external public/analytics tools, permissions only when necessary, local deletion possible. The user remains responsible for their device security.
14. User rights
- Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent.
- Local data: direct control in the app (view, edit, delete, JSON export).

15. Children’s data
- Orion is not specifically intended for children. Use by a minor with parental guidance if necessary.
16. Third-party services
- Apple Health / HealthKit, Google Health Connect, notifications, App Store / Play Store (payments). No Firebase/Crashlytics/Sentry to date.
17. No automated medical decision-making
- Estimates and suggestions are not diagnosis, prescription, or medical advice.
18. Policy changes
- This policy may be updated as the app, features, technology, regulations, or third-party services evolve.
